What is a privacy policy?          

This privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways our website collects, uses, discloses, and manages the data of its visitors and customers.


We (281 Vintage Ltd trading as receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way.


There are two types of this information: a) personally identifiable and b) non personally identifiable information.


How we deal with these two types of information is detailed in the sections below.

Non-personally identifiable information/cookies

This site uses cookies, which are tiny text files placed on to your hard drive to help provide a better user experience by retaining your preferences and used to provide anonymous data to third party analysis sites such as Google Analytics (see the third party section for more information on Google Analytics).

The data gathered via cookies is considered non-personally identifiable. 


Personally identifiable information

When you hire something from us, we take the necessary information from you to be able to complete your booking. That includes Email Address, First Name, Last Name, Delivery Address, Phone Number, Correspondence Address, Sort Code and Account Number (for return of damage & loss deposit).

This information will be taken through a mixture of the online contact form, email and phone correspondence. Non-financial information will then be stored on our secure company server. Sort code and account numbers will be destroyed immediately after the deposit has been returned.

We do not share your information with any other organisation, body or person. We will only ever share your information with law enforcement agencies when compelled to do so by law.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the issue number and date on this document, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
